Mr K. Rajamanikam (Raja) is a trained NIE teacher, who has 40 years experience as an educationist, teaching thousands of students and adults, written and spoken English Language communication skills. He holds a 2nd class Honours Degree from the University of London in Philosophy. Look him up online.
He has taught over 3,000 Primary school children and over 3,500 Secondary and Junior College students to score in Composition/Essay Writing and Comprehension in schools and in our email courses. Some of the Primaries 2 to 6 primary school students he has taught composition writing, were at Townsville, Radin Mas, Si Ling, Charlton and Keng Seng. Some of the Sec 2-'O' level students that were taught narrative essay and comprehension, were at Chung Cheng High school (both main and branch), St Nicholas, St Joseph's Convent, Tanjong Katong, and Ngee Ann.
He taught JC General Paper and Comprehension at ITE and at Blue Harvest Learning Centre and conducted motivational workshops for Secondary students at MENDAKI and SINDA.
He has written over 70 English educational supplementary books for Primary 1 to A Level, 24 of which are available at the National Library. Some of his other published books are:

He uses short-story writing techniques in all his creative writing teaching and in books for primary and secondary students, including for his latest Primaries 1 to 6 Creative Writing EWorkbooks with models and in his narrative or personal reflection essays in his 180 O Level Model Essay PDF Ebook. He has also published over 100 short-stories. Some of his short-stories are in the anthology ‘In Spirit Bound’. It also contains his 3rd prize national short-story winner 'Between Lives' and his commendation prize story 'In Spirit Bound’. He has also written two award-winning plays 'A Dabble in Reality' and ‘A Groom for Letchmi’ and has taught the course ‘Writing Saleable Short Stories’ for the National University of Singapore Extra-mural department from 1993 to 1996.
